Freedom '90 by George Michael played by Cloudless Rain

This is the first video with my new live Black MIDI instrument. It's written with Pure Data.

It starts with a midifile of the song which is simply downloaded from the internet. The program analyzes the song and provides information which helps the player lay out the controls. Then during performance the original song is altered and thousands of notes are added in real-time fashion. The alterations are largely improvised and every performance is different.
